ANVIL
About

We build tools that show their evidence

ANVIL exists because analog sizing is still a long serial loop done by hand, and the numbers it produces lose their connection to the simulations behind them.

The problem we are working on

Sizing an amplifier means reading the spec, picking a topology, choosing device sizes, building a testbench, running corners, reading the results, fixing what failed, and repeating. Most of that loop is mechanical, so little time is left for judgment, and usually only one topology gets tried.

The results then travel as tables of numbers. Once a value is pasted into a review, nobody can tell which netlist, models or corner produced it without running it again.

Our approach

Automate the mechanical part with real circuit simulation, not estimates, and keep the designer in charge of the decisions. Every number the tool reports is linked to the simulation that produced it. We started with the smallest useful version of that idea: two standard amplifier topologies, open models, and a simulator that runs in the browser so anyone can try it without an account.

ANVIL is in public beta. The roadmap describes where we plan to take it.
